Online Traveler

We have so many memories of Nashville, including trips to the Grand Ole Opry. Be sure to visit the Opryland hotel and ride the gondola. There are wonderful parks in which to hike. By all means include a visit to the Saturn plant in Spring Hill, TN. It is just a little south of Nashville and well worth the trip.

No trip to Nashville is complete without seeing the Grand Ole Opry in person. It is what has made the city famous, and for almost 80 years, it has played host to the world's greatest country musicians on the weekends. Many of the older performers, such as Little Jimmy Dickens and Porter Wagoner, are there just about every week. However, there is just about always at least one of the popular, younger stars in the lineup. Before the show, be sure to check out the Grand Ole Opry Museum located next door. It's free and displays costumes, instruments, and other memorabilia of various artists who are members of the Opry.
